888poker beta-testing Android app
Unavailable on Android marketplace but can be downloaded via QR code on 888poker's Google+ page.
888 has begun beta-testing a new poker app for Android devices, which will initially just allow customers to play cash games.
The app is currently unavailable on the Android marketplace, however players have been invited to download it via a QR code on the 888poker Google+ page.
After launching its Poker 6 platform and introducing Poker Cams last year, 888 announced record B2C poker revenues for the three months ended 30 September 2011.
This helped the operator secure the Poker Operator of the Year award at last year’s eGaming Review Operator Awards in London. Acting CEO Brian Mattingley is due to unveil the company’s latest key performance indicators to the stock market tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile last week saw 888’s B2B poker arm Dragonfish extend its partnership with Caesars Interactive Entertainment in preparation for the potential opening of the US market.
