Amaya launches first mobile offering
Includes first dedicated live dealer product for tablets.
Software supplier Amaya has announced the launch of its first mobile offering, including the first live dealer product designed exclusively for tablet devices.
The games are based on a selection of Amaya’s popular slot games redesigned for mobile, including Bars & Bells, Dragon 8’s and Lost Temple, alongside a blackjack product and lottery games. The products can be integrated onto all mobile platforms, allowing players to play on most smartphones and tablets.
The mobile launch will be followed by the release of a tablet-based live dealer solution, developed with Asian live dealer specialist HoGaming, featuring live blackjack, roulette and baccarat. The games are expected to be launched in Q2 2012, with further products to be rolled out throughout the rest of the year.
Amaya’s vice president of business development Darcy Krogh commented: “We are excited to be the first provider delivering a mobile live dealer product which will complement our comprehensive selection of mobile slots, table games and lottery games. Combined with our monthly release of quality online casino games, this demonstrates our continued commitment to provide our customers with the best casino games and platform on the market.”
The launch is the first since Amaya’s $36m acquisition of Cryptologic earlier this month, and follows the signing of a licensing agreement with Aristocrat Leisure in January.
