Intralot expands Italian offering

Intralot has expanded its portfolio of online gaming products for the Italian market by launching betting apps for mobile and TV, while also adding live casino games to own dot.it website.

The Greek service provider has added a mobile sports betting app ““ Intralot Mobile ““ to its Intralot Interactive offering, which is now available for user downloads from the Italian Apple Store. Meanwhile the company has also launched the HomeSmartPlay Betting Application which allows customers instant access to betting options specifically through the Samsung Smart television. Intralot has also launched a live casino product on its intralot.it site for roulette, blackjack and baccarat.

The launch follows last week’s news that Intralot’s B2B arm is to provide the technology behind Betsson’s Italian-facing online casino, StarCasino.it. The agreement sees Intralot provide the Swedish operator with its gaming platform, as well as the software and system infrastructure to connect to Sogei, the IT body that provides technology support to the Italian government in order to monitor and assess issues such as taxation.

Intralot also entered the German sports betting market this week after it was selected, along with Scientific Games International, to run Oddset’s retail and interactive operations. Oddset is a new company set up to modernise and develop existing sports betting operations in Germany online and via a national retail network of the Deutsche Lotto und Toto Block lotteries.
