888 has launched its own dedicated live dealer casino room with supplier Evolution Gaming building on a contract extension signed in July to provide the operator with worldwide games and services.
The new area, constructed at Evolution’s production studios in Riga, Latvia, is features both 888 branding and a dedicated 888 dealer team.
Created as a “physical” room, according to the supplier, the area has been built to 888’s precise specifications, complete with branded wall panelling, carpet and lighting.
A dedicated team of around 50 male and female dealers “ all in 888-branded uniforms “ will serve the tables and interact with customers.
An initial six tables will be available made up of one live roulette table and five live blackjack tables, one of which is VIP-branded for high rollers.
Erez Sadan, head of casino at 888.com said: “We were one of the first operators to explore the potential of an Evolution dedicated table and we have seen first-hand the ROI this approach can deliver.
“Opting for a fully dedicated room was the natural next step for us. This gives us full control over branding and the opportunity to maximise player time and loyalty through regular promotions and by building even stronger relationships between our dealers and our customers.”

The continued strong performance of 888’s B2C operations saw the operator record a seventh successive quarter of year-on-year revenue growth, the company announced at the end of July in its results for the three months ended 30 June. B2C revenues rose 21% year-on-year to US$80m, contributing to H1 group revenue of $186m.
Last month Betclic Everest became the latest operator to launch an Evolution Gaming-powered live casino offering in Italy. Going live under the Betclic Live Casino brand, the launch came less than one month after Betsson introduced its StarCasino.it live dealer offering in partnership with the supplier.
Local operator Stravinci has integrated the live casino provider’s services into both its B2C and B2B offerings.
Evolution has a number of deals in place in the jurisdiction with leading operators such as bwin.party “ for its bwin.it and Gioco Digitale brands “ and Lottomatica.
