Microgaming launches arcade-style slot game
Max Damage and the Alien Attack made available for download from the 32Red online casino.
Microgaming has announced the launch of a new arcade-style video slot which allows players to win a payout by shooting alien spaceships.
Max Damage and the Alien Attack has been made available for download from 32Red’s online casino and Microgaming plans to release mobile and tablet versions of the game in the coming months.
The software provider’s video slot allows players to place bets by shooting aliens and gives them six ‘lives’ to win randomly-generated payouts during nine levels.
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, said: “Max Damage and the Alien Attack is a radical departure from the conventional slot format and we’re excited about the potential for this new arcade-style game. At Microgaming we’re always looking for new ways to produce innovative content, so this move into a whole new style of game is particularly important to us. Fans of retro gaming will not be disappointed, while the top quality graphics are sure to please the whole spectrum of players.”
The release is the latest in a string of Microgaming launches, following three instalments of Untamed Series video slot games and The Dark Knight, a video slot based on Christopher Nolan’s Batman film of the same name, released in June.
